On the occasion of World AIDS Day, December 1st, a large-scale awareness rally was organized by the District Medical and Health Department, drawing participation from around 290 people. The rally, flagged off by Dr. Sri Praveen Kumar at PHC-Kambadur, proceeded to Ambedkar Circle. The RIDS-Kambadur team, hospital staff, ASHA workers, police personnel, Sachivalayam staff, Link Workers Scheme team, Anganwadi workers, and others actively participated. The event aimed to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS, reduce stigma, and promote health education in the community.
